rethinking staff and member colors
dont worry... im not going to say that i want pink... though i would like to but meeeh...
staff colors should be distingushable among the simple peasants...
that why we should rethink them...
since red is the most noticible color there is as a signal color... i believe it should admins should be red
while rp mods arent thaaat important and should get a rather less signalizing color.
if i remember in tnr its like this
admin - red
global mod - teal/petrol
mod - green
any other thoughts?

those colors from tnr were just an example... but we really should rethink them

Re: rethinking staff and member colors
Hmm... I don't think that's necessary kiri... the mind can easily saparate the colours if they are distinguishable from each other... no mistakin teal with green or red... I would suggest though to alter the normal member colours... leave the academy students as grey and let the rest, genin to sp. jounin, have the same colour but in each new rank that colour should be darker...

Re: rethinking staff and member colors
i didnt mean as distinguishable generally.... but i thought that those that are higher in the forum hierarchy should be seen instantly when i open the forum.
right now the first thing that pops up in my view are the rp mods.
i currently dont like thaaaat teal because its quite light and faint so it seems to me.... maybe try another variarity of this color. a darker one to put more contrast between the forum and your name. ☻☻☻☻☻☻ try something out
same goes for the light green

Re: rethinking staff and member colors
How is that? Keep in mind that with this color scheme, blue is one of the most distinguishable colors. I agree that the RP Mod red is the first one that pops out at you, but I don't think anyone will confuse what staff member is what rank. There is a widget on the right side now showing the staff list, and each of us has a rank name, and a rank icon.
Re: rethinking staff and member colors
we need to rethink the other colors as well....
with the new colors jounin and special jounin are barely visible

The other colors (other than Jounin) are all fine. SJ is very much visible. I'll probably change Jounin to something darker.AiKirika wrote:we need to rethink the other colors as well....

Re: rethinking staff and member colors
btw... i actually think there should only be staff colors
and maybe kage
everyone else should be just a normal color of the forum...
it gets to colorful other wise

Re: rethinking staff and member colors
kinda yeah...
if eevryone is so colorful... especially if some ppl dont even care about updating their tnr status about rank... those seem kinda useless anyway
