size converter app

is there a way to implement a converter of size and weight and maybe a few other to the site.

since we are an international site.... and since usually americans use all those sizes no one else is using... this would be very helpful

I can look into it. Would this be used for character creation? For people adding their height and weight?

People could always just use google if I don't manage to find a way to add a converter though. Americans use inches/feet for height and pounds for weight, and most of the rest of the world uses meters for height and kilograms for weight, right?

not only for character creation... but this difference often happens in normal talks too
so generaly this would be usefull i guess

Yeah... when someone starts mentionin feet on the character I got no idea how tall he is unless I calculate them... having sth nearby that helps with that would be nice

Err...I purposely chose not to mention the location to test how noticeable it was. Its at the top of the page in the nav bar.

It doesn't really fit. I could make the widget tables bigger, but then the rest of them wouldn't look good.

the current placement is almost invisible... no one will see it

if you really want to keep it up there, pls put it next to the calender
it doesnt mkae sense that its between messages and logout


since we're at it... the portal doesnt look that good... does it even have a purpose, a sense??
maybe remove that one and give the unit converter the icon of the portal
